Display Dynamics is a full-service display company specializing in the design, fabrication and installation of trade show exhibits, retail & custom displays, signage, and large-format graphics. Due to our increasing in-house graphics and production capabilities, we are looking to add hard working, dedicated individuals to join our skilled energetic team.
We are presently seeking a Junior Production Assistant capable of assuming multiple roles and responsibilities within our Graphics and Production Departments. The duties of this entry-level position do not involve design, but rather the fabrication and installation of large-format exhibit graphics and trade show display systems. With thorough hands-on training provided, a suitable candidate will be eager to learn and must be capable of handling a wide range of production-related duties. The candidate selected for this position will posses a drive for quality and thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Due to the high workloads associated with the seasonal nature of the trade show industry, overtime will be required and is expected for this position. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person willing to learn quickly and grow with our production demands.
Duties Include:
- Laminating, trimming and finishing large-format graphics
- Mounting/installing graphics to various substrates & surfaces
- Prep, verification and repair of new, used, and rental portable display systems and trade show exhibits
- Assisting in the fabrication of custom exhibits, displays and signage
- Installation & dismantle of exhibits & displays at trade show sites (some travel required)
- Customer and Supplier product pick-ups & deliveries
- Shipping, receiving, and verification of incoming & outgoing orders
- Maintaining work and storage areas
In order to successfully meet critical project deadlines and keep up during the peak trade show periods, a successful Junior Production Assistant at Display Dynamics will possess the following assets & abilities:
- Precision/attention to detail, particularly with measurements (both imperial & metric systems).
- Experience in using basic hand & power tools.
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for interactions with customers and suppliers.
- Capability of performing well under pressure is critical for successfully completing projects with tight timelines and managing periodic heavy workloads.
- Team player; flexible, reliable, and available to work overtime when required.
- Must posses a valid drivers license with clean abstract.
