Our story starts 20 years ago, back in 1990...
Well, to be perfectly accurate, the history of Display Dynamics actually starts years before that, but we’ll start here, where things started getting good. It was then, under its new ownership, that Display Dynamics began its transformation from an exercise in self-employment to an actual small business yearning for growth.
Its then new owner, George Daglish, came from a financial background in banking and focused on operational efficiencies and improved customer service to promote growth within the small company. Focused on the smaller, more portable products such as banner stands and pop-ups, the company continued to grow until the relative slow-down experienced throughout North America in the post 9/11 world.
Back to basics was then the philosophy of the time, and Display Dynamics quickly began to retrace the strong growth it had seen in previous years. A focus on in-house graphic design services and custom graphics were added to its product line, which now also included custom & modular displays. This approach successfully continued into the 21st Century as the ownership team neared retirement where corporate growth became a little less of a priority.
In the 15th year of its modern history, a new ownership possibility came to Display Dynamics. With the company's solid history, extensive client base, and excellent employee roster, the potential lurking within the company was evident. A year later the agreement was finalized and brothers Ian & Justin Roy became the new owners of Display Dynamics. With well over a decade of complete custom exhibit and graphic design experience behind them, it wasn’t long before the company was revitalized and a new approach to the business model was introduced.
Display Dynamics has now become a "Solutions" based company, whose new approach is still currently being translated to the business world with a new and energized branding campaign complete with new logo and bold new look. The wealth of custom fabrication experience by the new ownership is also currently being incorporated to its product line that provides both high levels of quality and design to its customers. All this, plus the commitment to customer service excellence drives the new operation and its full complement of energetic and professional personnel.
In the years since its ownership change, Display Dynamics has already seen strong, controlled growth and positive change as it continues to carve out its niche amongst its competitors.
