Display Dynamics offers customers access to an FTP server as a convenient method for submitting digital artwork files. Although traditional transfer medias such as CDs or DVDs are still preferred, our FTP server is a practical solution for providing us your files when project deadlines and other circumstances do not allow otherwise. In order to ensure that files supplied via FTP are received and processed without delay, please be sure to follow these simple steps:
If you are ready to upload your files but do not have the current log-in and password required to access our FTP server, please contact your account executive to obtain this information.
1. In an effort to reduce the time required to upload your files as well as the possibility of transfer errors resulting from submitting larger file sizes, please be sure to compress your artwork (.zip, .sit or .sitx) before logging on to our FTP server.
2. Using an FTP software client such as CyberDuck (for Mac) or FileZilla (for PC), enter the host name or server address: ftp.displaydynamics.ca followed by the log-in or user name as well as the password provided to you by your account executive.
3. Upon logging on to our FTP server with the appropriate access information, if you do not see a folder (directory) labeled with your company name residing on our server, please create one prior to transferring your files.
4. Upload your compressed artwork files to the folder (directory) labeled with your company name. Once the transfer has successfully completed, please send an email to indicating the location, name and size of the file(s) as well as your current account executive (if applicable).
Should you experience any issues accessing our FTP server or uploading your digital artwork files, please contact our design department either by email or by phone 403-269-5566 for further assistance.
